The team behind Swindon & Wiltshire Pride have revealed more plans for this summer's celebration.

The return of the vibrant Pride march was recently announced - and now an official afterparty has been added to the dat, hosted by Boom Battle Bar.

Nationwide has been confirmed as the main sponsor of the event.

Phoenix Stewart, community engagement officer at Swindon and Wiltshire Pride, said: "Nationwide Building Society has been a huge supporter for us over the years, and we’re extremely excited to have them back on board to support our alternative event for 2022.

"We have lots of exciting plans ready for this summer and it’s partnerships like this that allow us to create these events that are really important for the whole community."

The march will begin in The Parade at 11.30am on Saturday, August 13 before heading through the town centre, past the town hall, and arriving at Queens Park for a picnic with live entertainment and a pop-up shop until 6pm. The event is free.

After the picnic, everyone aged 18 and above is invited to Boom: Battle Bar at Regent Circus for a free pride celebration with an evening of live entertainment and music until 3am.

The afterparty tickets are available to book online now.
