- The county of Wiltshire is preparing to face the biggest rail strike in 30 years, after people have been advised to 'check before they travel', by planning their routes in advance.
- In a dispute over wages and redundancies, members of the RMT Union, which represents guards and other railway staff, claimed 40,000 workers from Network Rail and 13 train companies would go on strike on June 21, 23, and 25.
