The famous Red Arrows RAF team may have done countless flypasts in the region over the years, but it is always special when you have the chance to glimpse them in the skies.

The iconic red planes are due to make an appearance at this year's Isle of Wight Festival, which is taking place this weekend, and parts of Swindon and Wiltshire are set to be on the route as they travel there.

According to Military Airshow, on June 17 the Arrows will be flying over Wiltshire after leaving RAF Scampton at 3pm.

The Wiltshire Gazette and Herald:

They are then expected to reach Broad Hinton by 3.23pm where they should be available to see from Ashton Keynes and Royal Wootton Bassett just before.

After that, they will travel over Calne, Melksham and the Trowbridge and Bradford on Avon area before passing south of Faulkland at 3.26pm.

When the planes return on Saturday, June 18 they will set off at 11.09, passing through several Wiltshire places like Tisbury, Warminster, Westbury and Bradford on Avon and finally Bath at 11.16am.
