THIS is the aftermath of a crash on the M4 at rush hour today.
The eastbound carriageway between Junctions 14 and 15 shut at around 5pm after two cars collided.
It seems that one car was parked on the hard shoulder when another hit it. Luckily, no-one was badly injured.
Wiltshire Specialist Operations posted photos of the vehicles involved.
A spokesman said: "Roads Policing Unit are currently dealing with a road traffic collision on the M4.
"This is why drivers are urged to get out of the car and move to a place of safety if they have to stop on the hard shoulder.
"Fortunately, in this case, only minor injuries were sustained by both drivers."
As of 6pm, traffic is still queueing on the motorway but all lanes have reopened. Motorists should expect to add 25 minutes to their journeys.
