Planning applications: The following planning applications are those affecting the setting of a Listed Building, a Conservation Area, a Public Right of Way, or major applications.

Ashton Keynes: PL/2022/02300 - 10 Church Walk. Demolition of double garages and erection of a three bedroom dwelling with garage.

Calne: PL/2022/01698 - 12 Quarr Barton. Add wood burning stove to fireplace.

Road closures: Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to close Gaston Lane, Sherston, from its junction with Footpath 41, temporarily to all traffic. 

It will be for a distance of around 40 metres in a westerly direction to enable Bristol Water to carry out remedial works in carriageway and associated works. The alternative route East bound only: via Church Street – Easton Town – Easton Square. This order will come into operation on June 15 and will be for three days.

Lydiard Green, Lydiard Millicent, will be closed from its junction with The Butts to its junction with Bagbury Lane to enable Openreach to carry out for safe access to complete cabling works from multiple JRC's.

The alternative route will be via Lydiard Green (unaffected length) – Church Place – C34 – C414 and Lydiard Green (unaffected length) and vice versa. It will be from June 15 between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm for two days.

C101 (Part), Minety; from outside property known as New House for a distance of approximately 460m in a north easterly direction to enable Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd to carry out annual barrier maintenance and adjustments to the equipment and barrier arms.
Alternative route via C101 (unaffected length) – C99 – C76 - C90 – C101 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on May 25 and the closure will be required for two days. 

C74 (Part), Tidcombe and Fosbury; from its junction with Tunball Lane for a distance of approximately 360m in a south easterly direction to enable Openreach to test and Openreach pole as part of a safety programme and associated works. Alternative route via C74 (unaffected length) – A338 – C21 – A346 – A342 out of county and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on May 24 and the closure will be required from 9.30am to 3.30pm for one day.

 Poppy Close (Part), Calne; from its roundabout junction with Honeysuckle Close for a distance of approximately 50m in a northerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out replacement of a manhole cover. Alternative route via Honeysuckle Close, Poppy Close (Unaffected length) and vice versa. From May 24 for two days. 

Play Close (Part), Purton; from its junction with High Street to outside property known as Purton Methodist Church to enable Thames Water to carry out a b box exchange <33mm in carriageway. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on May 24 and the closure will be required for three days.
