With two weeks of events of all genres and for all tastes, the much-loved Arts Festival is returning to Devizes next month.

It is set to run from 10 to 25 June 2022 in various locations in the town centre, with big names coming as well as some newer performers.

One of the people listed to attend is Sophie Hannah, a Sunday Times and New York Times bestselling writer of crime fiction.

Her books have sold millions of copies worldwide, and in 2014, with the blessing of Agatha Christie’s family and estate, Sophie published three Poirot novels, that have been bestsellers in more than fifteen countries.

Baila La Cumbia, a Bristol-based Latin-American dance band will also be there, taking you right back to the dance halls of Colombia.

There will be many more performers at the event, which has now been running for over thirty years.

Organisers of the festival say that they aim to bring an eclectic mixture of music, literature, comedy and all the performing arts, making sure that there is always something for everyone.

The Festival Chair, Margaret Bryant said: "There are so many amazing events to choose from – I want to go to them all!”
