Road closures: Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order in the interests of public safety to temporarily suspend parking on Market Place, Colerne: North Side; from a point approximately nine metres north from its junction with Vicarage Lane, to a point approximately 18 metres in a South Westerly direction.. 

The order will be from Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm, on Monday, May 16 until Friday, May 20. 

St Paul Street, Chippenham, will be closed from outside the entrance to Thurston Court for a distance of about 50 metres in a southwest direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out replacement of faulty manhole cover and associated works. The alternative route is via St Paul Street (unaffected length) – Marshfield Road – Park Lane. Alternative route (b): via Park Lane - New Road – Marshfield Road. 

It will be from June 9 between the hours of 9am and 4pm for two days.

Angel Yard, Marlborough will be closed, from outside property known as Pear Tree Cottage for a distance of around 40 metres in a northwest direction to enable Thames Water to repair a service pipe unmade in verge and associated works. Alternativeroute is via The Parade – A346 – B3052 Pewsey Road – High Street and vice versa.

It will be from June 8 and the closure will be 24 hours a day for three days. 

Part of the C32 in Enford; from the property known as Down Cottage to outside its property known as Red Lion, will be closed to enable Openreach to provide a safe working area for engineers to access existing telegraph poles to provide fibre overhead cabling.

Alternative route: via C32 (unaffected length) – Enford Hill – A345 Andover Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on June 6 and the closure will be required between the hours of 9.30 and 3.30 for one day. 

Oxford Road in Calne will be closed from its junction with Sand Pit Road to its junction with Abberd Way to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out the construction of a new traffic island buildout.

The alternative route: via Oxford Road (Unaffected length) – Wood Street – The Square – Curzon Street – Greenacres Way – Beversbrook Road – Oxford Road (Unaffected length) and vice versa.

This order will come into operation on June 6 and the closure will be required between the hours of 9am and 3pm for five days.
