The Boeing 747 once used by Iron Maiden landed at Cotswold Airport this morning.
The heavy metal band used the plane during their The Book of Souls tour in 2016.

Lead singer Bruce Dickinson is a qualified pilot and flew the plane, which was modified to carry all of their equipment, to the gigs.
Nicknamed Ed Force One in honour of the band's mascot, the plane had a special livery and replaced a smaller aircraft they had used on previous tours.
It is now operated by Air Atlanta Icelandic and flew from Ostend in Belgium to Kemble earlier today.

Cotswold Airport sees around 30,000 aircraft movements a year. Around one per cent of these involve airliners for either storage, maintenance or recycling.
The airport has their own piece of 747 history, having transformed one of the iconic BA planes into an events space.
