The Ministry of Defence's anti-terror police team have been out patrolling checkpoints around RAF Fairford.
Project Servator's officers are specially trained to disrupt a range of criminal activity, including terrorism, and provide a reassuring presence for the public.
The officers turned up to highly visible checkpoints around the air force base, just outside Swindon, on Thursday.
MOD Police tweeted: "Our deployments can turn up at any time, in and around the sites we protect."
It comes as a number of military planes have been seen leaving both RAF Fairford and RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire.
Boris Johnson visited Brize Norton last week and confirmed that Britain would send further arms to Ukraine.
Project Servator focuses on protecting Defence sites, people and assets and those in the surrounding community.
