A COURT in Swindon has further delayed sentencing a Chippenham man charged with possessing a knife in a public place because of the Covid pandemic.
Daniel Lamp, 38, of Pewsham Lock, Chippenham, is charged with possessing a knife or sharp pointed article in a public place at Trowbridge Railway Station on September 3 last year.
He was convicted on December 7 after pleading guilty and the case was adjourned to January 20 for pre-sentence reports to be prepared.
On Thursday, the case was further remanded to February 18 because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
