A MAN has been jailed for six months after assaulting three guards at Erlestoke Prison.
Luke Anthony Cookson, of The Crescent in Chiseldon, admitted assaulting prison officers Leanne Hinton, April Jones and Michael Bluff on February 2, 2021.
The 26-year-old admitted the charges at a hearing at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court in December, having previously denied the charges.
Cookson appeared before Salisbury Crown Court on January 7 to be sentenced, where was jailed for six months for each of the three offences.
Each sentence will run concurrently, meaning a total sentence of six months.
