Doorway supports people who are homeless including rough sleepers and those in temporary accommodation, and this event helps raise funds for the charity as well as reminding people what it must be like to have no choice but to sleep rough.

Antiques Roadshow expert Marc Allum will be there on the night to show his support for the cause.

Charity director, Jo Kitching said: “This is one of the most important events in our calendar, and the money raised goes directly to supporting our guests, many of whom come to us for practical help including hot meals, showers and laundry facilities.

"Now that we’re in our new premises at the Citadel in the centre of Chippenham we’re able to open more often, and provide more support tailored to the individual.

“It’s not too late to sign up to sleep out with us, we’d love your help in making this a really successful event.”
