Detectives investigating a knifepoint robbery in Trowbridge have released a CCTV image of a man they’d like to speak to.

The incident happened at approximately 8.45pm on November 25.

A 14-year-old boy was out walking with his friend in Trowbridge Park towards the direction of Park Road when they spotted two men arguing.

One of these men approached the teenager and threatened to steal his scooter. He then pulled out a knife and pointed it at the victim before the victim handed over the scooter and ran off with his friend in the direction of Trowbridge Police Station.

The suspect is believed to have followed them for a short time before turning back and riding off in the direction he had come from.

The victim was not injured but was understandably shaken up.

The scooter is described as a black Xiaomi Mi Electric scooter worth approximately £500.

The suspect is described as white, aged in his 20s and approximately 5 ft 10. He is believed to have been wearing a black jacket with the hood up, a beanie hat and blue jeans.
