PEOPLE in Chippenham have the chance to share a little festive spirit with vulnerable children thanks to the Salvation Army's Christmas Toy Appeal.
Community Support Worker Miriam Dann from the Chippenham branch said: “Some children have missed out on a range of things now, and I can imagine everyone has a sense of wanting to make the most of it now at such a special time of year.”
“I can imagine that the pressure is definitely intensified for families to be able to do that, and to try and make it special for their children and get life back on track almost.”
Donation points include Sainsburys on Bath Road, Wilkos on the high street and the new Salvation Army donations centre on New road
The charity wants new, unwrapped toys and gifts suitable for babies and young people up to 18.
