MARLBOROUGH Town Council has applied for a road closure for its Christmas lights switch-on.
The town council has asked for the High Street to be closed on Friday, November 18 to ensure public safety during the Christmas lights ceremony and Christmas market event.
If successful, the closure will mean that the High Street will be inaccessible by vehicles between 5pm and 8pm.
