A MAN was robbed of his mobile telephone and cap after being punched and kicked to the ground in a Calne park.
The vicious assault took place in 'The Rec' in Calne close to Anchor Road and the town's Co-operative store at around 6.30pm on Wednesday, September 22.
Police said the victim was approached by a gang of eight people who took turns in punching and kicking him, causing him to fall to the floor.
The gang then stole his cap and phone.
Officers said: "We’ve arrested three members of the group on suspicion of robbery and assault, but we need your help in identifying five more people who were believed to be there.
