CONSULTATION on the Marlborough neighbourhood plan has begun and could see 180 houses built in the town up to 2036.

Residents have been invited to have their say on how Marlborough is shaped until comments close on Monday, November 8.

A spokesman for Marlborough Town Council said: “Wiltshire Council is currently consulting on the proposed draft Marlborough area neighbourhood plan, which has been formally submitted by Marlborough Town Council.

“Following this consultation, the comments received will be passed to an independent examiner who will consider the representations and recommend whether the draft neighbourhood plan should be put to a community referendum.”
