POLICE have appealed for witnesses to an assault in Chippenham High Street last month that saw the victim kicked repeatedly to the head whilst on the floor.
The incident occurred at around 10pm on Tuesday, August 31.
It is reported that a group of men have approached the victim and assaulted him by punching and kicking him, leaving him with a black eye, cuts and mild concussion.
The victim fell to the floor in the attack and the suspects have continued to kick him multiple times to the head.
The victim is in his 30s. Police said he didn't need hospital treatment after the assault.
