British actor Clive Mantle will officially the Bishops Cannings Summer Fayre today (August 21).
Mantle, 49, who lives in Wiltshire, first shot to fame as Little John in Robin of Sherwood, which was filmed in various locations around Wiltshire in 1986.
He is also known for Great Jon Umber in Game of Thrones, Simon Horton in The Vicar of Dibley and Mike Barratt in Casualty.
Taking place between 1 and 4pm at Bishops Cannings School, the fayre is free to attend.
The talented Devizes Town Band will be playing throughout the afternoon, which also includes a barbeque, prosecco bar, craft stalls, a raffle, face painting and more.
This fayre will raise funds for the village primary and pre school and the local church of St Mary’s.
