Chippenham Lions will be holding a Cherished Vehicle and Family Fun Day tomorrow (Sunday August 22) from 11am in the fields at Meadow Farm Nurseries, Langley Burrell, Chippenham, SN15 4LW.

The Lions President Martin Clancy said: “ At last, and after so long, Chippenham Lions can get back to fundraising again and we are starting with a bang with our Cherished Vehicle and Family Fun Day. This is the ninth year we have held this event and it grows in size and popularity every year. Like so many charitable organisation, wehave been hit very badly by the pandemic and at a time when people need our help most, then it’s most difficult to help.

“We will have a large variety of attractions for all the family to enjoy and we expect to have in excess of 250 cherished cars attending, as well as a performance arena, a fairground, Local Foods, Craft, Charity and Trade Stands. So a real treat for all the family and a chance to get out at last.”

Meadow Farm Nurseries is in the Chippenham countryside with the Avon close by - and a couple of miles north of Chippenham and about three miles south of the M4 J17. It has good access through wide lanes with plenty of easy parking on site.

The entrance will be £6 for adults (children under 10 go free) and all money raised will go to Wiltshire Air Ambulance and Bath Samaritans with Lions Charities - local, national and international.
