After almost 18 quiet months, the sound of music will finally return to Devizes with the relaunch of live music at Long Street Blues Club Devizes and Ceres Promotions at Devizes Corn Exchange.

On Saturday September 18, The Billy Walton Band from New Jersey will make their forth visit to the club, after their last two visits were both sell outs. The event will herald a programme of over twelve gigs stretching right through to September 2022.

On Saturday November 20, at Devizes Corn Exchange, the legendary band Focus will play a 50th anniversary gig to coincide with the release of their breakthrough album Moving Waves.

Promoter Ian Hopkins said: “We have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure when we get the green light we are totally ready to return to a vibrant live music scene. Our supporters have told us they have missed our live music events terribly and as a consequence there is a huge pent up demand.

The Wiltshire Gazette and Herald:

"We have had long discussions with our venues to ensure that all protocols are met. The live music scene has been in limbo for too long and we feel that over the next year music fans will want to get back into the excitement of going to see live performances."
