WILTSHIRE Council has announced that it will resurface roads in Marlborough and Pewsey between August and October.

The A345 Salisbury Road in Pewsey will be closed to traffic from August 9 to 20 for the resurfacing works.

Works will be carried out during the day between the hours of 7am and 6pm.

In Marlborough the council is planning to resurface the A4 Fyfield to Clatford starting in mid-September.

From September 15 to October 1 the road will be closed in the evenings from 7pm to 6am.

A spokesman for the local authority said: “It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions.

“Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.”

Road resurfacing is also planned for Porton Road in Amesbury between July 6 and 19.

Works will take place from the junction with Pendragon Drive to London Road
