WILTSHIRE Game and Country Fair will be held at Bowood House next month.
The event is due to take place on both Saturday and Sunday, August 14 and 15.
Bowood says it is “delighted to be welcoming back this lively celebration of rural life.”
Three main arenas will be supported by a host of smaller country sports arenas and workshops, as well as the very best of countryside activities and entertainment for all the family.
‘The World of Dogs’ competition will offers the very best in dog displays accompanied by a working test, a gun dog clinic, multi-scurry by the scurry bandits, fun dog show, chase the bunny, lurcher and terrier racing and showing.
Fishing demonstration and lessons will also be available on the lake from the Angling Trust and Salmon and Trout Society.
A large craft village with craft marquees and craft demonstrations such as glass blowing, blacksmiths and chainsaw carving will also be open.
New to the event this year is the introduction of the Lumberjack Sports Association with numerous competitions ongoing in their arena throughout the day.
The fair will be open both days between10am and 6pm.
