A WILTSHIRE mother is to appear at Salisbury law court for sentencing after being caught drink-driving with her seven-year-old son in the car.
Olivia Victoria Bladen, 39, was stopped by police on the A4 at Corsham on June 23.
She was arrested and taken to Melksham custody centre where she was charged with a drink-driving offence.
The charge said she was found with 92 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, way above the prescribed limit of 35mg.
Ms Bladen, of Dicketts Road, Corsham, pleaded guilty to the offence on June 25 and was given an interim driving ban.
She appeared before South East Wiltshire magistrates in Salisbury on Tuesday to plead guilty to having wilfully assaulted, ill treated, neglected, abandoned or exposed her seven-year-old son in a manner likely to cause him unnecessary suffering or injury to health.
A charge of failing to surrender to police/court bail at the appointed time on July 16 was withdrawn.
The court adjourned her case to August 9 at Salisbury to tie up with the drink-driving charge and ordered pre-sentencing reports to be prepared.
