OVERFLOWING recycling bins prompted a call for people to help keep an area tidy from Royal Wootton Bassett Town Council.
The bins in the Boroughfield car park next to the Sainsbury’s superstore are overflowing with cardboard, boxes and bags.
A spokesperson for the council said: “Royal Wootton Bassett Town Council has received many reports on overflowing recycling bins in the car park at Boroughfields Shopping Centre, which has been passed to Sainsbury’s, which is are responsible for these bins and to keep the area tidy.
“In the meantime, we kindly ask residents to wait until they have been emptied before placing any more items.”
