A Malmesbury glamping spot has been inundated with bookings, since it was showcased in Channel 4's Four In A Bed.

Caroline Weaver runs Whychurch Farm, which offers glamping, self-catering and camping spots.

The site, with its stunning views over a 40-acre-field is called the Worthies, did not win Four In A Bed, but Caroline said the experience was still a lot of fun.

In her episode, guests got the chance to stay within cosy wagons or a wooden glamping pod, complete with a breakfast hamper delivered by quadbike.

Caroline said: "The episode was filmed during lockdown, so we couldn't do as much things as in normal episodes, but I still loved doing it.

"I wanted to take part for Malmesbury, it's such a special little town, and to be able to have it included felt really good."

Viewers were taken with Caroline and her glamping site, and she has been busy with bookings since her episode aired. Some guests even ask for pictures upon arrival.

"It's crazy!" Caroline added.

"The whole experience has been brilliant, I've even had letters and emails about it."

Caroline built up her glamping spot independently, on land that used to be frequented by a dairy herd. It was a complete bog, until ten years ago when work started to transform it.

Family has been an integral part of her journey, with support from her parents and even eight-year-old Bella, who helped with breakfasts on the Four on the Bed episode.

Caroline has even restored the Old Shepherds hut at Whychurch Farm, where her grandmother used to store horses harnesses in when she was a little girl.

The farm surrounding the site has been in the Weaver family since 1899, and due to the difficult farming climate, the decision was made to rent out the agricultural land and focus solely on the glamping site.

Wagons were rolled in and built up, and a glamping pod purchased, and the site's proximity to Malmesbury has made it popular with many visitors to the region.

Caroline still does the majority of work herself, and hopes that she and eight-year-old daughter Bella can continue to see their success grow.

"I am proud of it, and couldn't have done this without the support of my family," she said.

"I'm glad more people got to see us and Malmesbury. Bella loved the crew, she was in the kitchen while I was making breakfasts and it was lovely that she could be a part of it."

Caroline appeared on series 16, episode 44 of Four in a Bed.

The whole campsite can be hired out for special parties, and private occasions which will include all four wagons, two extra electric points, parking and campsite facilities.
