Chippenham Town Councillor Richard Bambury has died. He passed away on Saturday evening at Royal United Hospital, Bath.

Richard was elected as Town Councillor in 2017 to represent Pewsham Ward and was recently re-elected to continue representing Pewsham residents in May 2021.

He chaired the PET Committee, and the Community Donations Sub Committee where he supported local organisations and community groups. He worked hard to support his ward residents wherever he could.

The Town Hall flag flew at half-mast and it will be lowered on the day of the funeral.
