Driver reported after MOT expired TWELVE years ago
A moped driver in Calne was stopped by the police after their MOT expired 12 years ago.
Officers spotted the vehicle being "ridden at speed" yesterday (May 19).
Their records showed that the vehicle had no tax and that the MOT expired in 2009.
Police have seized the moped and the driver has been reported.
The same evening, officers on foot patrol found an 18-year-old man in possession of cannabis – and he was given a cannabis street warning.
