This is why you might see Wiltshire Search and Rescue volunteers around the town this morning
Wiltshire Search and Rescue volunteers are using locations around Swindon today for training.
In a post on social media, the charity told people not to be alarmed by the increase in activity around the town.
It says: “Our volunteers are training to search close to different types of water, and rescue casualties using different methods including throw lines and reach poles."
