A swan was rescued from the Crammer, in Devizes, after a plastic ring got caught on its beak.
Firefighters, the RSPCA and charity Swan Support were all contacted in relation to the incident, which took place at 7.22am on April 28.
A rescue operation was launched and the injured swan brought to the edge of the Crammer.
A spokeswoman from the RSPCA said: “The swan was eventually rescued with a plastic ring from a drink bottle attached to the beak by our animal rescue team and the charity Swan Support, who do an amazing job rescuing and rehabilitating swans.”
