THIS year's Bath Half Marathon has been postponed for the second time until next March.

Organisers said continuing uncertainty over the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic and infrastructure work on roads in Bath city centre had forced them to postpone the event again this year.

The half marathon had already been pushed back from March 14 to Sunday, September 5.

It will now take place on Sunday, March 13 2022, the organisers said.

The event is one of the longest-running races in the UK and the biggest fundraising event in the West Country, with charities raising more than £2.5 million from the thousands of runners taking part.

In a statement, Running High Events said they still did not have clarification from the Government on key factors to guarantee the safety of runners and spectators.
