Calne: Turner Landscapes of 4 The Rise is applying for a licence to use Wessington Cabins, London Road in Calne as an operating centre for one goods vehicle.

Chippenham: Marek Repetowski trading as Comfort Moves of 3 Heathfield has applied for a change to an existing licence – to allow the company to add an operating centre and two vehicles at Unit 9 of the Westpoint, Business Park, Vincients Road in Chippenham.

Lacock: Joseph Mark Brunt, trading under J M Brunt Livestock has applied to change an existing licence to allow the company to keep an additional two goods vehicles and three trailers at its operating centre at Clanville House Stanton St. Quintin.

Devizes: Parts of Elizabeth Way will be closed from May 10. The road will be closed from its junction with Cunnington Close to allow for manholes on the road to be repaired.

No alternative routes have been made available, but access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible. The works are expected to be finished on May 12.

Collingbourne Kingston: Ben King of Cloverlait Ltd in Glastonbury has applied to build a portable steel building at Manor Farm.

The building would be used to house a milking parlour, pumps and cooling equipment together with two 12,000 Litre milk tanks on adjacent concrete pad.

The bid would also see Mr King build a new concrete yard, earth banked, lined slurry lagoon, hardcore turning circle, hardstanding area for the siting of temporary herdman’s accommodation and the formation of new hardcore access track from Mill Drove Lane.

Ludgershall: Wiltshire Council has announced new 20mph zones for the full lengths of the following roads: Granby Way, Lansley Road, McEvoy Gardens, Moyne Drive, Pillens Road, Rose Drive, Soper Crescent and Taylor Gardens. Ludgershall: Rose Moss trading as R. M. Equine of 22 Simonds Road is applying for a licence to use Tedworth Saddle Club, Humber Lane, Tedworth as an operating centre for one goods vehicle.

Westwood: Parts of Lower Westwood Road from its junction with Linden Crescent for 300 metres heading west will be closed from April 12. This order was previously due to come into effect in November last year, but has now begun this week (April 12) and the closure will be required until June 25, 2021. The road will be closed to allow for Wales SC West Utilities to carry out gas mains and service replacement works.

Drivers are advised to take the unaffected length of Lower Westwood Road, Iford Road, Upper Westwood Village Road and vice versa. A spokesman for Wiltshire Council said: “Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible.”

Trowbridge: Phillip Bryant is applying for a new premises licence for Stowford Farm, Farleigh Road in Wingfield. If the licence is granted it will allow for the sale of alcohol for consumption on and off premises.
