The newly refurbished Warminster police station has opened this week.

The community police team this week moved into its newly refurbished station at the former Wiltshire College training campus at The Avenue.

The renovated station in Warminster is now fully operational as a 24 hour police station, replacing the town’s former site on Station Road.

Since October last year, the site has undergone extensive renovations to make it more contemporary and a practical work environment for Wiltshire Police and its staff.

Inspector Simon Cowdrey said “We’re looking forward to settling into the vastly improved premises – it’s been transformed to include a modern, open plan working environment and much better facilities, boasting the latest technology.

"We’re only 450 yards from the Marketplace so we’re pleased to still be located right in the heart of the local community.”
