Firefighters cut free a driver of a white Vauxhall Corsa after it was involved in a three car accident on the A350 last night.
Police closed the A350 between Yarnbrook and Westbury for several hours as they dealt with the incident, that involved a white Corsa, a black Vauxhall and a grey VW Golf.
Debris littered the road for 25 metres with the engine of the Corsa ripped from the car coming to rest in the verge following the incident.
Police, ambulance and fire crews attended the scene.
The driver of the Corsa was cut free and taken to Bath’s RUH with non-life threating injuries, with the cars other three occupants receiving medical attention.
Wiltshire Police road policing officer Will Ayres is appealing for any witnesses who saw the car prior to the accident to contact them referring to police log 397.
