Malmesbury Climate Action Network is working to create a collective vision of what the town might be like by the year 2040.
The group hopes to bring together ideas on how the community will look if people work together to make it a safe, inclusive, green, sustainable place.
The visions will be brought together for this summer’s edition of the community magazine Malmesbury Jackdaw - written as though from the year 2040.
People in Malmesbury have been urged to submit articles, poems, pictures, drawings, collages, photographs, crafts or even models.
For written entries short article should be maximum 200-250 words and longer articles a maximum of 500.
Prizes are on offer for younger participants, with vouchers available for the top three entries from school aged children.
The only requirements are that people create from the perspective of being in the year 2040 with a positive and uplifting outlook.
Please email your contributions to malmesburycan@outlook.com by April 19.
