A Calne ice cream maker has launched a new flavour in memory of the little girl who tragically died in a road accident at her home.

Three year old Milliee-Ann McKellar was killed as she played near her home in Campion Close on March 3.

"We got in touch with the family to ask if we could do anything," said Chris Wooldridge of Fluffy Puffin ice cream near Foxham.

"We have two daughters aged five and three, and cannot imagine what the family must be going through. We wanted to do something, so we asked the family what Milliee-Ann's favorite ice cream would be.

"They said she liked all the syrups, so we came up with a ripple ice cream with blue berries and crushed mini eggs."

The unique ice cream can be ordered online and via Facebook and Instagram, and all proceeds will go towards a memorial for the little girl.

Two other fund raisers are also still running and have so far raised more than £2,000 in combined total.

A funding page set up by Tara Elizabeth, a cousin of Milliee-Ann's mum Tanzin has reached £1660.

"I thought it was a really good gesture to set up this page so everyone who can, can donate.

"She was a happy, cheeky, kind little girl who will be missed dearly!!

"Anyone who can kindly donate please do as I know it will be greatly appreciated at such an difficult time.

"Any money raised goes to anything that Tanzin, Mike & Rico want to do in memory.

"Personally, I just want to say a massive thank you to any support each one has given I know it certainly has not gone unnoticed.

"Tanzin, is my little cousin and I honestly can’t imagine what she Mike and little Rico are going through right now."

Another appeal has been organised by Kevin Thorne.

Mr Thorne, of High Street, Calne, said: “Mills was a happy bubble little girl who was always had a smile.

"Her laugh was infectious, she would cheer up the whole room.

“She has left a sparkle in lots of hearts which will always be with them."

The van driver has been interviewed by police. No arrests have been made.

The inquest  into Milliee-Ann's death was opened for identification purposes on 19 March 2021 and there is no set date for the adjourned inquest.
