Police in Corsham have helped reunite a sickly cat with its owners.
Neighbourhood officers were handed the cat yesterday morning (March 21) by concerned residents from the Charles Street area of Corsham.
Police have described the cat as "very thin and poorly with some minor injuries".
The pet was taken to Hale Veterinary Surgery in Chippenham, where it fortunately discovered that the cat was chipped.
The surgery will be making contact with its owners shortly.
