Angry Pewsey residents are pleading with dog walkers to stop throwing poo bags into trees and bushes.
"Over the past two weeks I have picked 11 filled dog bags, black sacks along Southcott Lane and in the field by Coopers Arms," said Heather Woods.
"Some were just hanging over the branches. Such a shame as it spoils our beautiful village."
Others have joined her call and plan to lobby the parish council for more bins. "The field opposite Swan Meadow has dog poo on the track. I always pick up, you can’t enjoy your walk because you’re looking at the ground all the time," added Jan Cross.
