A TROWBRIDGE drug dealer faces a lengthy spell behind bars – despite only being 18.

Teen Ibrahim Chafik was arrested by police in the Wiltshire town last month with a Kinder Egg containing 34 wraps of class A drugs.

Appearing before Swindon Crown Court on Friday via video link from HMP Bullingdon, Chafik, of Cheviot Close, Trowbridge, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine, possession of cannabis and damaging a police telephone.

He denied possession of £172 cash that prosecutors alleged was the proceeds of drug dealing.

Chloe Griggs, for the Crown Prosecution Service, confirmed that the pleas were acceptable.

The court heard Chafik was already on bail to Salisbury Crown Court to be sentenced for dealing class A drugs.

Judge Jason Taylor QC sent the matter to Salisbury to be sentenced on a date to be fixed.

Chafik was represented by Ellen McAnaw.
