AN ERLESTOKE prisoner who attacked a fellow inmate has been given extra time behind bars.
Together with another prisoner, Dean Turner, 30, attacked the man on a landing at the Wiltshire prison in December 2018.
Their victim suffered serious injuries and was treated at hospitals in Salisbury and Southampton.

This week, Turner was found guilty at Winchester Crown Court of causing grievous bodily harm and sentenced to two-and-a-half years' imprisonment, to be served after his current prison term.
The other prisoner involved in the attack pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing.
Welcoming the jail time handed down to Turner, Det Sgt Ted Roe of Wiltshire Police said: "This was a vicious assault on a fellow inmate by two men.
"We welcome the result and hopefully it sends a message that, although a person may already be in prison, no one is above the law and we will investigate and if necessary pursue any prosecution.
"I also hope this gives the victim and his family some closure now."
