The Wiltshire Gazette and Herald:

Principal, Ricki Smith, remarked, “Following our co-educational Senior School announcement, I am delighted by the support from parents and the wider community. This change will enrich the education that all our young people receive; the ethos and values that have always underpinned
St Gabriel’s will remain as steadfast and true as they have for the last 90 years.”

St Gabriel's stands out as being an exceptional school in the Newbury area and was rated Excellent and Outstanding in all areas in 2019 by the Independent Schools Inspectorate. Pupils achieve exceptional academic results, however, a St Gabriel’s education is so much more than numbers and grades; a strong focus on an all-round education, recognising and developing individual talents ensures all pupils grow in confidence and enjoy their educational journey. St Gabriel’s curriculum is broad and well balanced, and pupils move seamlessly on to the next stage of their education with a lifelong intellectual curiosity, the ability to question and challenge and a confidence and belief in their ability.

The Wiltshire Gazette and Herald:

A St Gabriel’s education allows the strength of personal relationships to form and develop. It is their size that makes them special; a school where children are noticed, a school for the individual, a school where they enjoy being part of the community. Pastoral care is second to none in supporting the transition through the different stages of childhood and school. From this position, pupils and teachers in partnership, ensure every child achieves the success that they deserve.
