A MYSTERIOUS individual is spreading some love as they posted small heart shaped cushions around Royal Wootton Bassett.

Sam Kelly was one of the many people to receive this gift from an unknown sender, her's was green with white dots which had a tag that said 'made with love'.

The 55-year-old who lives in Spats Barn Crescent has hung hers up beside her front door for everyone to see.

She said: "I got up on Saturday morning and went to grab a newspaper for my dad and when I opened the front door the heart fell to floor.

"My friend around the corner makes things for me so I thought it was her, so I messaged her and she said it wasn't her. It's a mystery who did it.

"It seems Bassett was covered in little hearts, they were on people's doors on that Saturday. It's so beautiful and a lovely, kind thing to go out their way to cheer everyone up."

Another lady, Wendy Owen, who lives next to The Green received a pink heart cushion.

"I was so surprised to find it on my mat when I got home," Wendy said.

"It's such a lovely sweet thing to do, I've asked around but it's a little bit of a mystery who made and delivered them.

"Everyone has had a difficult time this past year with coronavirus so it's very kind someone went out of their way to cheer people up."
