A ROYAL Wootton Bassett man will appear before a judge today charged with attempted murder.
Nicholas Bray, 23, of no fixed address, is accused of attempting to murder his girlfriend on February 2. It is claimed he held a plastic bag over her head at her home in Royal Wootton Bassett.
Bray is due to appear before Bristol Crown Court judge William Blair QC, the Honorary Recorder of Bristol, at midday today.
The Bassett man also faces a charge of sending a threatening social media message to a Wiltshire Police officer last November.
