A MAN is accused of hitting his ex-partner with a crowbar.
David Dent, 44, is said to have launched the attack as his former partner parked up outside her place of work near Lacock on Wednesday morning. His alleged victim suffered cuts to her head.
Appearing before Swindon Magistrates’ Court on Thursday afternoon, Dent, of Hewlett Close, Chippenham, pleaded not guilty to assault causing actual bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon.
Magistrates remanded him in custody to appear before Swindon Crown Court on February 19 for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
Natalie Angel appeared for the Crown Prosecution Service. Dent was represented by Mark Glendenning.
