FIREFIGHTERS from Devizes and Westbury helped to rescue a man who fell into a stream in Erlestoke and broke a leg yesterday.
They crews were called out by Southwest Ambulance Service to assist with the rescue.
They used a triple extension ladder and lines to rescue the victim from the stream.
They said the man had slipped down a steep bank into a stream and suffered a suspected broken leg.
The casualty was left in the hands of South West Ambulance Service paramedics.
The incident happened at 11.02 on Sunday morning.
