Wiltshire residents have been urged to share their views on climate change ahead of the COP 26 conference in Glasgow.

The conference allows world leaders to review efforts to reduce carbon emissions and tackle global warming.

MP Danny Kruger will be holding a virtual conference - the Wiltshire Climate Summit - on 19 February from 11-4pm. The conference will include a range of local and national speakers including the former President of COP26, and former Devizes MP, Claire Perry-O’Neill, and the Prime Minister’s business envoy to COP26, Andrew Griffiths MP.

Mr Kruger said: “Here in Wiltshire we know the benefits and the responsibilities that come with a beautiful, bountiful natural environment. We too have our part to play in reducing climate change and, I hope, in influencing the decision-makers in Glasgow.

“Attendance is open to all and I very much hope we will have a stimulating conference with some practical proposals that I can use in Parliament in the run-up to Glasgow.”
