A top Marlborough chef is offering online masterclasses - in an effort to help local charity Prospect House get people connected over lockdown.

Dan Bond from Dan's at The Crown has offered his expertise to the Join Together January initiative which brings a new idea each week for family and friends to come together and keep in touch.

Bingo, virtual quizzes and a murder mystery evening are also on the menu to encourage people to host their own events, while supporting end of life care across Swindon and north east Wiltshire.

Abby Benson, community and events fundraiser at the hospice, said: “We know it’s been really difficult over the last year for people to see each other and share special moments so we wanted to create a way for family and friends to come together and share some fun to start the new year in a positive way.”

Everything you need to create your fun evening can be found on the charity’s website page. The hospice asks is that you set up an online fundraising page that people can donate to when taking part if they wish.
