Wiltshire has gone without any semblance of a white Christmas this year.
At the start of the month the Met office predicted heavy snow, sleet and high winds across the region. However, a blanket of snow never emerged.

Highlights include the muscians, Morris Men and Mummers that braved the snow in Bradford on Avon last year as well as some imaginative snowy creations in Swindon during heavy snowfall in 2013.
