Here are some of the recent cases heard before Swindon and Wiltshire magistrates courts.

DEVIZES: Benjamin Abigailoak, 19, of Waylands was fined £120 and banned from driving for six months after pleading guilty to damaging another car and driving off.

TROWBRIGE: James Grimes, 45, of Studley Rise has been remanded on unconditional bail after denying driving with an over the limit amount of a controlled drug in his system. The case has been adjourned for a case management hearing.

MELKSHAM: Adam Leslie Palmer has had his case adjourned for a pre sentence report. Palmer, 26, of Bowmans Court pleaded guilty to being over the limit with a controlled drug, failing to stop, driving without due care and failing to provide a specimen.

He also admitted driving while disqualified and with no insurance.

TROWBRIDGE: Ashley Palmer, 29, of Roundstone Street has had his case adjourned and has been put on conditional bail to not enter Boots the Chemist on Bythesea Road.

The case, in which he is accused of stealing a razor and skincare products worth £1, has been adjourned so he can attend the hearing.

MELKSHAM: Charlotte Sophie Barrow, 27, of Bowmans Court has had a case in which she was accused of stealing a pot of rice pudding and a magazine from Tesco withdrawn.

But she was fined £80 and banned from driving for a year after admitting driving under the influence of cocaine and other drugs.

CALNE: Nicholas Colin Bray, 23, of The Knapp is accused of causing £5000 worth of damage to property at Alabare House.

He is said to have thrown canned food to cause the damage. The case was adjourned so he can attend.

MARLBOROUGH: Jake Johnson-Atcherley, 18, of Five Stiles Road has pleaded guilty to possessing 22.9g of cannabis and has been fined £40 as well as a £34 victims support surcharge.

He had his drugs confiscated.

WILTON: Joshua Wilson of Marchment Close has pleaded guilty to beating a woman. The 29-year-old has been given a community order to participate in a Building Better Relationships programme for 30 days.

He must carry out unpaid work for 80 hours and has been ordered to pay compensation of £200 and costs of £85.

PEWSEY: Adam Street, 36, of Goddard Road was fined £300, plus a £32 victims surcharge and £85 costs after pleading guilty to failing to give a specimen after being stopped in Tidworth.

He was banned from driving for a year.

WINTERBOURNE GUNNER: Daniel Ashcroft has been sent for trial by jury at Salisbury Crown court, accused of beating up a man causing actual bodily harm.

The 19-year-old gave no plea when he appeared before magistrates.

TROWBRIDGE: Thomas Francis Braiden, 54, has been sent for trial accused of assaulting and imprisoning a girl against her will. No plea was entered.

WARMINSTER: Tony Curtis, 51, of West Street Place has pleaded not guilty to causing actual bodily harm to a woman.

The hearing was adjourned for case management reports.

DEVIZES: Ashley Jeffreys, 28, of Wablingen Way was unwell and so had his case in which he is accused of stalking a woman adjourned.

TROWBRIDGE: Jordan Hudd, 21, of Whicker Hill has been remanded on unconditional bail accused of making threatening phone calls and sending threatening messages, breaching a restraining order.

The case was adjourned so he can attend.

WESTBURY: An arrest warrant has been issued for Wayne Earl, 61, of Bitham Mill Courtyard.

He is accused of failing to comply with a community protection notice to remove, turn off or design his porch lighting so it can no longer been seen from the road, and cause annoyance or danger to other road users.

DEVIZES: Terri Packham, 42, has pleaded not guilty to assaulting another woman.

She has been remanded on bail while the case is adjourned for reports, but she has been told to keep away from the woman.

MELKSHAM: Kyle Walton, 18, of Goldfinch Road has pleaded guilty to damaging a window to the value of £386 belonging to Alabare Christian Charity.

He has been ordered to pay £386 compensation and do 100 hours of community service. He also pleaded guilty to damaging a television and a window.
