A MALE motorcyclist has been taken to the Royal United Hospital in Bath after a single vehicle crash on the A350 between Lacock and Beanacre yesterday evening.
The man was taken to hospital for further treatment after being treated by paramedics at the accident scene.
The A350 was closed in both directions following the collision shortly before 6pm.
It is understood the man’s motorcycle overturned but it is not clear whether his injuries were serious.
Wiltshire Air Ambulance paramedics, travelling in a rapid response vehicle, attended the scene.
A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: “We were called just before 6pm to a single-vehicle RTC involving a motorbike.
“The A350 was closed at the junction of the A365 and at the roundabout with Beanacre Road.
“The male rider was taken to hospital as a precaution and the road was reopened shortly before 8pm.”
